There are currently 9 freight stations in Duisburg, of which DIT freight station is the largest and is also an important railway container distribution center.  From here, goods from China are diverted to various parts of Europe.  Since the opening of the " Yu Xin ou" train connecting Chongqing, China, to duisburg, Germany, DIT freight stations have become well known to the Chinese, and more and more Chinese cities have opened trains leading to this place.

 German Railway - Highway Transit Company ( DUSS ) was established in November 1982.  Today, the german railway network group ( DB Netz AG ) holds 75% of the shares, the german railway group ( Deutsche Bahn AG ) holds 12.5%, and kombiverkehr gmbh & co. kg holds 12.5%.

 The company's headquarters is located in Bodenheim ( near Mainz ).  At present, DUSS has 24 freight stations, 1 RoLa system, 59 gantry cranes and 10 trestles, and is one of the largest railway freight operators in Germany.  Also in comparison with Europe, DUSS is in the leading position in the joint transportation terminal business.
