Shippers and forwarders should pay attention again!  It is reported that several shipping companies, such as Maersk and Dafei, will increase the comprehensive freight charges from Asia to many countries and regions in the world from December 1, and the price hike is coming again.

01 Maersk Shipping Adjustment FAK

 From December 1, Maersk Shipping will increase the comprehensive freight rate ( FAK ) from Shanghai, Qingdao, Hong Kong to West Africa, and the adjustment will be completed by December 16. The specific criteria are as follows:

02 Dafei adjusts FAK and GRR

 From December 1, Dafei will adjust the comprehensive freight rate ( FAK ) from Asia to major ports in northern Europe, north Africa and the Mediterranean.

 * If it is linked to Reddas Port, it is required to pay EPS, i.e. an increase of US $ 120 per TEU.

 * * If it is linked to Benghazi Port, it will increase by 75 US dollars per TEU.

 GRR

 From December 1, Da Fei will charge the rate recovery fee ( GRR ) for the major ports in mainland China, Taiwan, Southeast Asia and West Africa, specifically:

 Mainland China, Taiwan, China to West Africa: 500 US dollars per 20 - foot container, 1000 US dollars per 40 - foot container.

 Southeast Asia to West Africa: 300 US dollars per 20 - foot container, 300 US dollars per 40 - foot container.
