What does " Customs Inspection" check? Show you how to test it!

The customs will incur some extra charges for checking cabinets, but these charges are not collected by the customs, but the fees for hanging cabinets and dismantling cabinets collected by the wharf, which is the only charge for customs inspection, so the wharf generally calls these charges customs inspection fees and the wharf will issue formal invoices.

So the check fees are paid by SHIPPER.  The general customs will have inspection notice before inspecting the goods, and there will be inspection report after the inspection.

Inspection is an important means of customs supervision. Customs declaration is only a procedure. Customs will conduct spot checks on some sensitive names according to its own experience and policies at that time, and of course it will sometimes conduct spot checks without any reason.  During the inspection, the box will be opened to see if it is consistent with the customs declaration data, the name of the goods, the quantity, the value of the declared goods, etc., whether there is tax fraud, commodity inspection evasion, and the HS code classification is incorrect.

Customs inspection does not collect money, but because the inspection is conducted in the port area, the port area is responsible for unpacking, loading and unloading, sealing and so on, so it is also a national rule to pay the port area money.

The customs generally has several directions to check the goods, so the common problems of inspection errors are generally as follows:

A check the name of the product

It is easy to make mistakes here that the scientific name and common name of the product are easy to make mistakes, and then the Chinese name and the actual name translated from multiple meanings of English words are sometimes not correct.

 B check the specifications

What is easy to make mistakes is that some factory customers have punched out the carton packing specifications, and there are many specifications that need one of the largest and one of the smallest, and then there are some irregular product length specifications with two, one of the upper length and one of the lower length.

 C check the quantity

It's the total quantity, and the ones prone to errors are the ones that report less and report more, especially the ones that refund taxes. The reason for frequent errors here is that the customs declaration materials are made in advance, and the data are changed and forgotten to be updated when the containers are loaded.

 D check the weight

There are two places where the weight is more likely to go wrong.

The first is that the gross and net weights of bulk goods exceed the actual weight by 3 % - 5 %.

The second is that the weight-based products only know the gross weight but the net weight is calculated. Many customers have the formula that the gross weight MINUS the net weight divided by the number of pieces does not exceed 1kg or 2kg to push back the net weight, which results in inconsistent with the actual net weight. I have experienced a funny customer using this method to calculate the wrong net weight, and the customs will determine that there is a problem without unpacking and weighing at the end of the inspection. The reason is that each carton customized by the customer has a shipping mark, and the shipping mark has a single gross weight and net weight, which is completely out of line with the weight of the customs declaration form. This is too careless, too estimated.

 E number of reconciliations

The more error-prone part is that the tail box and samples and gifts were not counted in. Once a customer produced a cabinet of his own goods and installed 4 or 5 boxes of other factory products bought in China for foreign customers at the door of the cabinet. The total number of pieces was not summed up.

 F check the shipping marks

Some products have shipping marks and some do not. Some shipping marks will reflect some products and logo information, if any, they must be reflected on the customs declaration form.

 G check for infringement

This everyone knows, famous brand, imitation brand, factory brand, hanging brand, R Logo and logo should be distinguished.

H verification of the final place of production

Is the source of goods, some factories will disclose the information or advertising information of the source of some products in packaging, especially the wrong origin information or destination information, especially the three-way trade to Russia. Singaporean companies will buy goods from China and sell them to Russian buyers whose suppliers are unclear. The origin information should not be mistaken at random, otherwise it will not be clear.

 I verification of classification

To check whether the customs code is accurate, the more error-prone thing is that multi-functional products should be classified accurately. For example, tablets with telephone function should be classified as mobile phones rather than tablets.

 G check old and new

Many old things can't be exported. What is easy to make a mistake is that the open top cabinet of the flat panel cabinet is prone to being misjudged as old when exposed to the rain, and that many things in the moving immigration cabinet are old.

 K checking prices

The code corresponding to each type of goods imported and exported by the customs has a price range within the customs system, which generally has two, one is the price range at the local export port and the other is the price limit range nationwide, especially when the price is checked strictly at the time of import and is relatively better at the time of export.  Anyone who needs this price range can ask me for it. I have an electronic file on hand.

 L sampling and inspection

This kind of products are rare and generally cannot be judged by the naked eye, such as chemicals that need to be tested.

 M check the car body

Check container trucks for shipping containers when transporting between China and Hong Kong.

 N check the box body

The inspection of containers has basically not been done carefully, and there is no problem, usually when special cabinets are inspected carefully.

O whether to hide it or not

Is whether to carry some things that the factory did not produce or failed to report, which I see more, what bacon sausage, famous brand TV, books and electric bicycles are numerous.
